The Vertical Sales Group - Electric Bus and Truck Solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join our team.
As a member of the eBus/eTruck solutions business you will be responsible for achieving sales targets for the eBus/eTruck product portfolio by introduction of our innovative charging hardware and cloud services, defining customer project requirements and working with the wider product and engineering teams to create propositions that add real value to our customers business.
The Sales Manager is expected to engage extensively with key customers in public transit operations and heavy vehicle manufacturing for both the bus and heavy truck market segments.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing customer opportunities, engaging the target customer base, visiting customers, scoping technical projects for heavy commercial vehicle charging infrastructure, preparation of technical documents and managing the customer offer and relationship through all phases of acquisition and deal closure.
We are seeking an experienced professional technical sales manager with an engineering background (ideally in the heavy vehicle or power engineering market segment) who has exceptional interpersonal and networking skills and a proven track record of engagement and capture on complex solution sales.
As a Technical Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include a range of activities in the area of opportunity development, customer engagement and preparing customer offers:
